About Patty and Darwin

We are so fortunate to live and work in one of the most beautiful places on earth, the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. We currently own several cabins in Pigeon Forge and have had years of experience with 'vacation rental property'. All our properties are furnished with the guest in mind and hope that our visitors here will also enjoy our Destin Beach Cottage. Our business Affordable Cabins in the Smokies keeps us quite busy, but we still love to ride our Harley in the national park and hike with our pets. Our two small dogs travel with us everywhere we go and we know true pet lovers will and have respected our properties. Off time includes enjoying nature from our back porch and cooking on the grill.

Why Patty and Darwin chose Crystal Beach

We have vacationed in Destin for years with family and friends. We love the quaint 'village atmosphere, sandy white beaches, seafood and deep sea fishing. We would always play 'Wilson' (volleyball) at the beach or pool. We were quite blessed when the opportunity became available to purchase this cottage and hence the name, Castaway Cottage.

What makes this Cottage unique

Two fenced in yards are perfect for pets, easy location to the beach, shopping and restaurants. Hop on the bikes or cruise Scenic 98 along the beach in our Pirate Buggy. Our guest love the extra amenities you won't find anywhere else!!!
