This retreat is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains directly adjacent to Shenandoah National Park near Luray Virginia. Mountain Top Retreat is a 4 bedroom, 2 bath, 3 level 1900 sq ft retreat that has beds to sleep 10 people. This peaceful relaxing retreat sits on 7 wooded mountain acres and has a ½ mile wooded hiking trail on the property with abundant wildlife.This large retreat is very accessible, relaxing and quiet, and less than two hours from downtown Washington DC!

Perched atop a ridge crest at a 2700-foot elevation, the retreat offers spectacular mountain views of the Blue Ridge and Appalachian Range. The Appalachian Trail (AT) and Big Meadows recreation area is only a few miles hike from the retreat. You can hike 1.5 miles up to the fire road then its only 1.5 more miles to Big Meadows and the AT trail.  Big Meadows Recreation Area, features a nature center, a historical stone lodge and tavern, and the Meadow itself. In addition to hiking, the nearby towns of Stanley, Luray, and New Market offersLuray Caverns, canoeing on the Shenandoah river, wineries, horseback riding, antique stores, restaurants, Civil War battlefields, and much much more.

We provide an atmosphere welcoming to all, so your “escape” is an unforgettable experience!
